Summary
This contract supports development of the L-MAPS (Lunar Microwave Spectrometer) instrument, which integrates a microwave spectrometer with a DLR-contributed ground penetrating radar subsystem. L-MAPS IS A MICROWAVE SPECTROMETER WITH A DLR-CONTRIBUTED GROUND PENETRATING RADAR SUBSYSTEM USED TO MEASURE SUBSURFACE STRUCTURE, TEMPERATURES, AND ID SUBSURFACE ICE.
