Summary
The Town of Penhold is seeking a contractor to reline approximately 100 meters of 450mm storm metal pipe along Minto Street. The existing pipe has corroded due to high salt content in water flow, causing sinkholes. The project will use a 4-layer fiberglass and resin structural liner to minimize disruption to adjacent properties. Work must be completed before the end of the 2026 season.
Description
The Town of Penhold has secured Provincial funding for a project to reline the deteriorating storm metal pipe along Minto st. Bottom of the pipe has corroded away due to high salt contents of water flowing through that has caused sink holes to appear.
