The National Research Council of Canada's Centre for Drone Innovation seeks to procure one ground-based detect-and-avoid (DAA) radar system for beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) remotely piloted aircraft operations. The Sparrowhawk DAA radar system includes the radar unit, processing unit, laptop, ADS-B receiver, cabling, airspace management software, remote customer support, software updates, custom transport cases with tripod, and manufacturer-provided mobile system training.
