How to focus your search
- Combine your service with the delivery area, such as Calgary, Edmonton or a northern community, rather than assuming every Alberta project is nearby.
- Review whether the opportunity is a one-time purchase, a construction contract or qualification for future work; the effort and evidence needed will differ.
- Check the buyer's contact and instructions on APC. Expressing interest or viewing a notice is a separate step from submitting a complete response.
Are APC opportunities only from Alberta ministries?
No. Alberta's guidance describes a broader public-sector marketplace. Read the buyer name and organization type on each posting so that your proposal addresses the actual customer and its delivery requirements.
Before you prepare a response
Check the scope, mandatory qualifications, evaluation criteria, closing date and time zone, and the buyer's question deadline. Keep the original notice and any addenda with your working documents. Submit through the channel specified by the buyer.
