Flextender Winter 2026/2027 – Temporary Flexible Power Capacity

Summary

TenneT TSO B.V. is procuring temporary flexible power capacity (aggregates, battery energy storage systems, or hybrid solutions) up to 46 MW for injection into the electricity grid in the FGU congestion area (Utrecht, Flevoland, Gelderland regions) from 1 November 2026 to 31 March 2027. The contract is structured as a framework agreement with five lots (30, 16, 5, 2, and 1 MW). This direct award was justified by extreme urgency due to unforeseen network capacity constraints identified in recent calculations and delays in previously contracted measures.
