The National Research Council of Canada has a requirement for the supply of one Hail impact tester capable of simulating hail impacts on solar thermal collectors and Photovoltaic panel (PV modules) in accordance with Regulation of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 61215-2:2021, Model Quality Test (MQT17) and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9806:2017.
