Description
The proposed riverbank stabilization is located approximately 7 km west of Whitecourt, Alberta, at 11-NW-22-59-12-W5 (Cutbanks Road) and 05-SW-20-59-12-W5 (Old Ferry Loop Road). Due to the 2023 floods in the Whitecourt area, the riverbanks are unstable and are being undercut, posing a risk to the nearby Cutbanks Road and Old Ferry Loop Road.
