Summary
CIFFC is seeking proposals for a comprehensive national review of Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI) wildfire response operations. The project will examine governance structures, responsibilities, and operational models across federal, provincial, territorial, municipal, and Indigenous organizations. The consultant will assess jurisdictional compatibility, identify governance challenges, and explore options for a common national framework or consistent approach to WUI wildfire operations. A multi-disciplinary task team will provide guidance throughout the project.
