Online tax and local fee collection banking services via GlobalPay platform

Summary

Municipiul Baia Mare (Romania) awarded a 4-year framework agreement to Banca Transilvania for online banking services to collect local taxes and fees via the GlobalPay platform. The contract enables citizens to pay municipal taxes, fees, and fines using bank cards through a secure, integrated system. The framework agreement has a maximum value of 4,800,000 RON, with at least 2 sub-contracts awarded annually. This replaces previous services provided by Indeco Soft due to new regulatory requirements from the National Bank of Romania.
